Position: Director of Housing
HOPE of East Central Illinois is dedicated to ending domestic violence by providing a wide range of services for victims and facilitating social change. We are currently seeking to fill a part-time Transitional Housing Case Manager role within our Charleston office. HOPE of East Central Illinois offers paid time off and a competitive salary.
Job Description:
Exempt. Part-time position, 20 hours per week. The Transitional Housing Case Manager role may require some evenings and flexible hours. This position is responsible for case management and advocacy services for adult clients and their dependents in our transitional housing program. Major duties include providing direct services to clients including emergency shelter, crisis intervention, long-term counseling, life skills and housing stability. Reports to the Director of Housing.

Scope of the Position:
The Transitional Housing Case Manager must be willing to engage in direct communication in an effort to contribute to a healthy positive work culture. An understanding of housing issues, knowledge of community resources and a sensitivity to the needs of survivors and their children is required. Candidates must also be committed to and comfortable with diversity and demonstrate commitment to inclusivity. Successful candidates must be able to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population of clients and must be able to work effectively as an individual as well as a team member.
